‘I am Charley Ross’: Gustave Blair, Nelson Miller, and the Crime that Changed a Nation

The creators of this site invested fifteen years researching the assertion their family hid Charley Ross in their home in 1874 and raised him as one of their own, Nelson Miller. When, as Gustave Blair, an Arizona jury declared he was in fact Charley Ross, Nelson’s great deception appeared to have solved the mystery of what happened to Charley Ross. It did not and we feel it is important to tell you why. Here is the report of our findings.
